TPS warns of attempted abduction from Tulsa school

Tulsa Public Schools said a man attempted to abduct a boy walking home from Peary Elementary on Wednesday.

Deejay. I'm in agreement with you. Granny should have called police as soon as she found out. Like you said that gives LE the earliest chance to get started on preventing this class AAA jerk from being more successful at doing anything like this to others. Here's hopes for removing this piece of garbage from our streets before they get a chance to do real harm to any family.

Just curious, why didn't the parents call the police instead of the school? The police would be anyone's first choice you would think since they would have the ability to actually do something like take a report, have officers looking for the truck/person, get a good description..things like that. The school could always be called second. I would want to make sure if someone was trying to abduct my child that I knew law enforcement was notified and were actively searching for them so that it couldn't happen again to my child or any other person's child. It bothers me that they didn't because it almost sounds like they didn't believe their son. I am not accusing them of that, but you must believe your children when they tell you something and report it. If it is not true, the police will get the bottom of not wait around and try to figure that out yourself.
