A new game plan for keeping students safe at Tulsa Public School football games is off to a good start.
TPS says security workers turned away six people last night at the East Central game who did not have a valid ID.
School police also say they had to tell several people to leave the Memorial game after the gates closed for the third quarter.
Officers say some of those people became irate saying they did not think the new rules would be enforced.
The tighter security comes on the heels of the big fight that broke out last week at the game between Booker T. and East Central.
