TPD writes 83 traffic citations in an hour and a half

Police say officers patrolling Memorial between 71st and 81st wrote 63 for red and yellow light violators, 12 for not having insurance, 4 for no driver’s license, 4 no seat belt and 1 for an expired tag.

Sometimes the light changes to yellow when you don't expect it and if you stop you create a more dangerous situation, I haven't been ticketed yet for running a yellow, but I have gotten halfway through a light and it changed on me....

wondering how we can write them tickets for running them and for crossing lanes without their signal, of course they throw their lights on right before the lights then turn them off after they past through so i guess that makes it ok?

would love them to be by wallmart on memorial and admiral both entrance my fam has to walk across and people are always flying and turning and almost hit us on the walk signal
