Tulsa police arrested a man they say was making counterfeit money.
Police arrested Bryan Cleary on December 5th after being called to a disturbance at a Super 8 near 11th and Garnett. According to the police report officers found Cleary hiding in a car parked near the disturbance call.
Police say they found a red/orange suitcase that contained U.S. currency notes and a printer with templates to make U.S. currency. Police say they also found a black bag with sheets of U.S. currency that hadn’t been cut out yet and blank sheets of paper.
Officers say the suspect gave them a fake name and they identified him using the car registration. Cleary faces 19 counts of possessions of forged instruments.
