The Tulsa Police Department amped up their fleets to investigate and give peace of mind to a neighborhood that has been rattled. Five people were shot and three died within a five mile radius in a North Tulsa.

"There will most likely be an officer, if not a few, driving by houses more than once tonight," said TPD Sgt. Mark Wollmershauser Jr. This afternoon officers knocked on doors and asked neighbors questions in an attempt to jog their memory. TPD says there is no forensic evidence to go off of right now and no motive. They are asking the neighborhood to lend their eyes and ears to the investigation to help find the shooter.
"Any piece of information could be a real break in these shootings," Wollmershauser said.

Officers said that in many cases patrols like this, can help them gather information that will lead to an arrest.

Police are concentrating on finding a white pick up truck driven by a white male in the area at the time of the shootings.

If you have any information call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS. You can also call the Homicide Tip Line and speak directly to a homicide detective at 918 798 8477 or email homicide@cityoftulsa.org
