It doesn't matter whether the birth father was named or not: HE HAD SIGNED AWAY ALL LEGAL RIGHTS!!! And ignorance of the law is no excuse. If he didn't know what he was signing, he should have consulted a lawyer before he signed it. And the judges "take the emotion out" every time they hear a case. And the courts have ruled that the Capobiancas have FULL legal custody of this child. I would think Brown would want to be cooperating so that he could have visitation with his daughter instead of raising all this fuss. Because if I were in the C's place, I would offer only supervised visits in South Carolina. Why?? Because I would be afraid that he would take the girl and run. But the way Brown's acting, I would be hard pressed to grant him visitation of any kind. HE SIGNED AWAY HIS RIGHTS!!! Send the girl home with her PARENTS to SC. Obey the laws that apply, not just the ones you choose to obey.

A PR firm from South Carolina is hoodwinking Oklahoma! From the adoptive mom testimony: "the birth mother did not wish to identify the father, said she wanted to keep things as low-key as possible for the Adoptive Couple, because he's registered in the Cherokee tribe. It was determined that naming him would be detrimental to the adoption." http://www.scribd.com/doc/166613014/Melanie-Testimony

Didn't this so called wonderful dad give up his parental rights when she was born? If anyone is ruining this little girls life it would be him. People should take emotion out of this mess and obey the law which has spoken and decided she should go with the people from South Carolina.

Just destroy this little girl's life, so a wealthy infertile South Carolina couple can have a child! Rip her away from her family and cause irreversible damage, it's sickening what this little girl's future holds if they steal her away from her daddy that she loves! BUT wait Governor Nikki say's you have to take the emotion out, she's an idiot of the highest degree!!
