A girls softball coach with Tulsa Public Schools has been dismissed, accused of fondling a teenage player and making sexual comments to other team members.

Tonight the Tulsa Police Department confirms 55-year-old Tommy Rogers is charged with lewd molestation after a 14-year-old girl accused him of touching her buttocks, and asking about her sexual habits.

He turned himself in at the Tulsa jail, where he is being held, with bond set at 100-thousand dollars.

FOX23 news has been told and published reports indicate Rogers was dismissed from East Central high school and that his attorney is saying the girl made up the claims and that Rogers has no criminal history.
