(AP)- Mother of two, Misty Vanhorn, pleaded guilty Friday to trafficking children and was sentenced to two years in prison and eight years probation.
Police say Vanhorn offered to sell her 2-year-old child to a Fort Smith woman for $1,000 or to sell both the 2-year-old and a 10-month-old for $4,000.
Investigators say Vanhorn said she was trying to raise bail money to get her boyfriend out of jail.
Vanhorn was arrested in March after the Fort Smith woman contacted police about the offer.
