MOORE, Okla. (AP) - President Barack Obama has arrived in Oklahoma for a visit following a killer tornado that struck Moore.

Air Force One carrying President Obama landed at Tinker Air Force about 11:45 a.m. Sunday. He was met by Gov. Mary Fallin, U.S. Rep. Tom Cole and mayors from several Oklahoma City metro area cities.

The president is to survey damage from Monday's EF5 tornado that killed 24 people and damaged an estimated 12,000 homes in Moore. The president also plans to visit with affected families and thank first responders in Moore.
