The Public Service Company of Oklahoma said at the height of the outage more than 2,400 customers were without power on Thursday night because of a power line that caught fire.
Homes between 35th and 45th from Lewis to Riverside lost power around 9:45 p.m. PSO toldFOX23 that a power line fell onto another power line causing a fire.
Within an hour, about half of the outages had been restored. Crews worked to restore power in the area by 11p.m.
