Monday morning Bixby police officers tried to stop a former police vehicle near Stadium and S. Memorial in Bixby because of bogus tag.

Police said the driver wouldn't stop, so officers chased them until they crashed around 231st and just south of Yale in Okmulgee County. Both the driver and passenger then bailed out of the vehicle.

The driver, 27-year old Michelle Valk, was captured fairly quickly. Okmulgee County deputies caught the passenger, 34-year-old Lanney Moore, a few hours later.

Valk told officers Moore might have narcotics on him, but he didn't have any drugs or weapons on him when police caught him.

Police said there were bullet holes in the suspects' car, and they were fairly recent. Police do not know where they came from.

One officer sprained his ankle when he stepped on a rock while chasing them, but he's going to be fine.
