Tulsa police have arrested two men for allegedly breaking into a Northwest Tulsa home and robbing a man, his pregnant girlfriend and baby at gunpoint.

Kelin Marshall, 19, was arrested for robbery with a dangerous weapon, 1st degree  burglary, possession of marijuana and two outstanding juvenile warrants. Bobby Mayfield, 20, was arrested for robbery with a dangerous weapon and 1st degree  burglary. A third juvenile was interviewed and release, all three relating to a home invasion near North Pine and Union.

FOX23’s Janai Norman spoke with a neighbor who details how she saw the suspects right after the crime.

“I hollered, ‘hey, are you guys robbing somebody?’”

That’s what Cheryl Sheehan says she yelled after seeing three people walking down a narrow street behind her house, one of them carrying a big screen TV.

At the time, she had no idea the victims were her neighbors.

“They were in tears,” she says of the neighbors when she got to their home.  “He was like ‘I just got robbed, they had a gun to my head.’”

She walked us through her yard and her neighbors’, pointing out where she was as she spotted and tried to follow the suspects.

“I’m right here, I hear ‘no, we just got this from up the street’ and that’s when I noticed that somebody was over there.

She says someone was hiding in a brushy area along the side of the street.

“That one came running out carrying a bundle of stuff.”

She watched the suspects until they split up further down the road. That’s when police say they surrounded the area and were able to catch up with three people.

FOX23 learned police interviewed and released one juvenile before arresting Marshall and Mayfield, and recovering some of the stolen items.

Sheehan said, “We found one of the TVs that was stolen off in that brush.”

But even with this crime solved, Sheehan says the area is seeing an increase. So on her street, neighbors are coming together to make a change.

“We are going to set up a neighborhood watch and we’re going to petition for street lights.”

Would have been a happier ending if the two punks were in body bags.
