The south Tulsa pill robber has struck once again and Tulsa police say it's becoming a trend.

The Tulsa Police Department tells FOX23 the robber hit the 81st and Yale store around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Police revealed the reason they are certain the robberies are connected.

Not 1, not 2, but three times police say someone has walked through the doors of a south Tulsa Walgreens and walked out with pills.

Officers tell us the pharmacist's story is always the same.

FOX23 talked to Tulsa Police Capt. Rick Helberg, who said the robbery always starts the same: "gave them a note saying she had a gun and demanded pills."

The string of events in the robberies is close to the same every time.

"The description is so close. Everything she does is the same. We've compared the video, we are pretty confident it's the same girl," Helberg said.

Now police are ruling out coincidence.

FOX23 looked at a map and pin pointed just how close the stores are to one another. There's a two-mile radius between each robbery.

Police now have reason to believe the thief is moving even further south and that she may have a helper.

"I feel confident that it's the same group and that they have increased their stomping grounds a little bit," Helberg explained.

Broken Arrow confirmed that police have responded to two pill robberies in the last week, both at Walgreens.

Broken Arrow Police Department says the only difference is the suspect there is a man.

The same man TPD believes helps the female robber in South Tulsa.

"(It's a) 2000 model white Chevrolet pickup. We think there is generally a white male with her that acts as the driver," Helberg said.

Even though a gun has never been shown, it's been implied. Police tell us once the thieves are caught, they'll be facing armed robbery charges.
