our troops over the years fought for our freedoms and we law abiding citizens will follow the law to cc or oc and businesses who prohibit guns will not get my business... too much American blood has been shed, so i will "stick to my guns and religion"and always appreciate our military.

Since you can't carry license or not a 50 caliber in Oklahoma my 500 S&W 8 3/8 inch barrel Magnum can't be carried either. Lol

You are actually loosing rights with the new law. It wasnt illegal to open carry until we "legalized" it, forced you to register your guns and nickled-and-dimed you for your new "privilege".

I understand the local news has to attract viewers through shock value, but any story that was even reasonably intellectually honest would have started with the FACT that 40+ US states already have Open carry with virtually zero problems. This whole article is speculative, sensationalist nonsense. NOTHING is going to happen come Nov 1st. and there is data to prove that. From 40 + states.

Regarding his question of an open carry person being a target of a perpetrator.....what is the perp or perps walked in and saw 3-4 people open carrying? Do you think they would be less likely to commit he crime they had in mind and go find an easier target?

Open carry will probably be more like driving. Most drivers are always blowing their horn while all along they are pressing the wrong button. Try the brakes, before you hit the wall.

I think this will not be a real problem, as the man said last night on the show this law is not putting more guns on the street just how we carry them. Most of the time I will CC but in the mid summer heat we get it will be nice to be able to have the option of open carry. I am comfortable with my weapon, I have been shooting for over 30 years and shoot every week.

Where was the Tulsa Police departments reresentative? It would have been nice for a local station to have local police present to provide their views on this subject. All I can take from ths report is TPD plans on getting the city sued for 4th amendment issues.Thats what Tulsa really needs, anothe corruption scandel.
