Okmulgee girl treated for dog bite

Okmulgee County deputies say a 10-year old is being treated after a dog bit her.
Deputies say they were called to the 14000 block of Monroe Road near Okmulgee just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Deputies say the dog had been contained by the owner and the little girl had been taken to the Okmulgee Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
Deputies say the victim was then taken to a Tulsa hospital by helicopter, the dog has been placed in quarantine with a licensed veterinarian.
