The OSBI made an arrest in a 10-year-old case involving a missing McCurtain County woman.
Hope Meek, 25, was reported missing by her husband in late February 2002 numerous days after he last saw her. OSBI agents gathered ample circumstantial evidence to show that Hope is deceased and that she died February 21, 2002, after a fight with her husband at their home.
On Friday morning OSBI agents arrested Jerry Meek, Hope’s husband. He was booked into the McCurtain County Jail on one count of first degree murder. His bond has been set at $250,000.
