A grandmother was stabbed to death in her own home and Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force arrested the person they think is responsible.
Detectives say this started Monday night just before 6 p.m. and more than twelve hours later crime scene tape surrounded the block and an officer was watching over the house.
FOX23 talked with the family, they’re all wondering who could have done this.
“My family just called and said the police is at my mother's house, I came over here and they said they found her, there's blood there, there's a crime scene. I didn't want to believe it, I didn't believe it, I always think, I just don't, you don't want to believe anything like that,” said Eddie Driskell, the victim’s son.
The task force spent hours searching the house trying to figure out what happened and who stabbed and killed Esther Driskell.
Detectives say Driskell lived at the home with several other people, but her family said she lived alone.
“She was just all about her family, and you know she was just good, I don't know why anyone would hurt her, or maybe, I don't know what happened, we don't know what happened,” said a family member.
Detectives say homicides almost never happen in Skiatook that something like this is very rare.
