My heart aches for this family. ALL of Tulsa needs to be more careful in their cars...everyday I get in the care I am almost in an accident because of crazy drivers and people not paying attention. Not blaming the driver in this case because I wasn't there...and I can't imagine how she must feel sad that this happened though.

This is sad for everyone including the driver. Some things are just unavoidable. Very sad.

My middle son catches the bus for KIPP at Clinton, and although I did not know Elijah, my son and I have seen him from time to time up there waiting for his bus. My son said he looked familier to him. It is sad and drivers do need to slow down. I was walking my son to the bus one day and a school bus flew right past us speeding clearly. My son was aren't you glad I am not on that bus mom? I hope this does not happen again and as sad as it is, I hope he did not feel any pain.

This saddens me i passed this yesterday morning, as my daughter goes to celia cliton. If you cant see while driving in day or night should you really be driving? I can see when i drive i dont understand why they blame it on being dark, its not like you dont have head lights. It was a school day with a school just blocks away. Very upsetting to me!! My prayers are with the family in this time of need! Rest In Peace Baby

So sad. It upsets me to know that there was a 12 year old sister standing with him. The driver should have seen the older child and paid extra attention for other children. You have to be defensive and expect that a child may run out in front of you, no matter how hard parents try to teach them not to. And it also upsets me that they are blaming a dark colored halloween outfit. I just pray this little girl can get past this eventually and be able to live a normal life. Prays are for this family.
