Mother bound for trial after child found in dog crate

A Tulsa mother charged with child neglect will stand trial.
Erin Lewallen faces one count of child neglect. Police were called the a north Tulsa home in November after a neighbor saw a naked three-year old boy in Lewallen’s backyard.
Police say Lewallen was not home at the time, but her husband William was, police found a 22-month girl locked inside a dog crate in the house. Another three-year old boy was discovered naked and asleep next to William Lewallen. Police say William Lewallen had taken narcotic painkillers with beer to deal with back pain.
He was also bound over for trial on a child neglect charge.
