The state of Missouri executed a convicted murderer and rapist early Wednesday morning. Michael Taylor was sentenced to death for the 1989 abduction, rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl in Kansas City. The execution came after the US Supreme court denied a stay of execution and Missouri's governor denied a petition for clemency.

Attorney's for Taylor said a Tulsa pharmacy, The Apothecary Shoppe at 51st and Sheridan, was originally supposed to supply the drug for his execution but eventually agreed to stop supplying the drug.
