Man shot by OHP trooper in east Tulsa identified

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol released the name of a man shot by a trooper and the name of the trooper.
Kermit Lee Farrish was taken into custody Tuesday morning after being shot by trooper Shiloh Hall in east Tulsa.
It happened around 1:00am at I-44 and 11th street.
Troopers said they pulled over a car, and Farrish became violent and reached for the trooper's gun. Hall shot Farrish during the struggle.
Troopers said Farrish then got back into his car and drove to a motel at 11th and Garnett, where people there called 911. Farrish had a gunshot wound to an extremity and is now in the Tulsa County Jail on felony assault and battery on a peace officer charges.
A passenger in the car ran away, and is still at large. Hall is on paid administrative leave until the investigation wraps up.
