We spoke with the sheriff of Wagoner County and he tells me this shooting was a horrific situation, especially because it involved nine children.

Sheriff Bob Colbert tells FOX23 police responded to this trailer after calls of a shooting.

"There are multiple occupants of this trailer and there had been a shooting and had two victims," Colbert said.

Those victims, two brothers, 32-year-old Jeremiah Roberts and Eugene Grigg Jr.

"Alcohol was definitely involved," Colbert said.

Witnesses said the pair had been drinking and arguing for most of the day.

"One brother was in the bedroom and the second brother went back to the bedroom to confront him multiple times. Then that brother went to the living room and shot himself," Colbert said.

Colbert tells me there's a hallway that runs parallel to this wall and on the other side of that wall a bedroom where you can see the bullet holes where shots were fired in this trailer.

"Children played and lived here," Colbert explained.

Nine of them total. Toddlers to teens saw what happened.

Toys were scattered around the yard, an indication children live here, ages 1 to 14.

These kids are in a growing stage, and to have to witness something like this is horrific.

The size of this trailer, very small, close quarters, it's just terrible I'm sure it's going to affect them,” Colbert explained.

Colbert says his heart is weighs heavy for these children.

"We just hope everybody's thoughts are with the families and these kids, at this time of year it's just terrible," Colbert said.

Colbert also told FOX23 this case is under investigation and those children are with other family members.

He says he's working on getting grief counseling for those

Hahaha that was funny Karl. Clearly you've had a bit too much cannabis in your lifetime...or maybe not enough (according to your so-called logic). Your failed attempt at humor makes for good reading though. Thanks!

KarlSchneoreoider #8 ^]] I guess you didn't understand the message in that book. Cain was punished for the slaughter of his brother Abel. I'm sure it's easy for you to get lost in the text since your logic is twisted.

Interestingly, this violence appears to have a legal component of alcohol which is legal (and mostly manmade) that would not have happened if the participants had been using a natural product, created by God Herself, cannabis which is very much illegal and feared by the faithful in our wonderful state.

kathy, there is a book made up of ancient goatherder campfire tales that describes fratricide in a way that makes it pretty much okay to the belief systems that adore the book. It's an a part of it called "genesis".

In the light of day after the alcohol wears off he will probably say to himself oh my god what have I done !?!?!?!? When the bottles come out lock the guns up and hide the key till Jimbob has a little bacon and eggs. Condolences to friends and family.

Who is "Griff" and why are there 3 different names attached to 2 brothers? I think these kids may be better off.
