Oklahoma Highway Patrol have identified one of the occupants inside the vehicle that went off a cliff into Grand Lake Friday afternoon.
Troopers said Michael John McKinney, 24, of Brookings, Ore., was pulled from the water Friday. The other two victims have not been identified and are still in the vehicle.
The vehicle and two occupants have not been removed due to floats unable to lift the vehicle out of the water, troopers said.
Investigators said around 9:30 a.m. Friday somebody noticed the guard rail had been hit and there were skid marks leading over the cliff and called 911.
Troopers said the vehicle was driving northbound on a county road and for reasons unknown, the vehicle lost control, hit a guardrail, struck a tree and traveled off an 80 foot embankment, over turned 1/2 time coming to rest on it's top in approximately 12 feet of water in Grand Lake.
Recovery efforts were suspended and will resume 7 a.m. Saturday when the proper equipment arrives on the scene, troopers said.
