Holiday impacts Tulsa trash, recycling services

In observance of the Christmas and New Year's holidays, there will be no residential refuse, recycling, yard waste or bulky waste collection on Tuesday, December 25 and Tuesday, January 1.

On the broadcast just now, they said that gift wrap, gift bags, bows, ribbons, cards, etc. can't be recycled. But us teachers love to use this stuff. So, if you have any of these items take it to your local elementary school art teacher. Btw, I'm at McKinley Elementary. ;-)

Back in the good ole days sanitation engineer seemed kinda snooty for some guy swinging off the back of a garbage truck. These guys sound more like a four count pushup. Im spoiled I just use a dumPster. It's trash friendly, just like paleman the newsbot.

Yes it was, this one is expensive and isn't nearly as good IMO. Maybe they will get better with time.
