No big surprise considering the location.

aqua02 ;-) If it's poor business practice then WHY do they have two other stores that are doing quite well. Read the daily blotter and you will see nearly every African American is charged with larceny of a retailer; along with whatever felony falls with that crime.

It seems the community killed the goose that was willing to lay golden eggs. Until business is safe to do business, there will be no business growth in that area. The store was face up robbed shortly after opening, and shoplifting became commonplace. Folks, you have to police yourself and show pride in your community with honesty, discipline and cleanliness (think paint and fix up).

There is not that much theft in the world..before you assume theft is the issue, get the facts yourself..Perez got the money he wanted from grants, made a few TV appearances to look like he was doing something good, then got ghost. Of course management, his niece, is gonna say theft is the problem..point the finger at everything and everyone else except your poor business practices..geesh!

What? You mean there was a lot of shoplifting there? Shocked, I am, just Shocked. Nobody with a functioning brain expected anything different. When the clientele consists mostly of minimally evolved primates, stealing is normal behavior.

"I'm not entirely sure what happened. We do have a big problem with theft."
