Green Country girls caught on tape fighting, rumors of planned brawl

Video of two girls from rival high schools fighting in a Sapulpa park this weekend has escalated into threats of a brawl involving guns and other weapons.

Back in the day when I was in public school rivalry was toxic. Memorial vs Edison generated a lot of sentiment. Once Edison came out tied a dead chicken to the flagpole tied the chain at the top and greased the pole. We returned the gesture by spelling profanities on their field in rock salt.they had to resod the whole field. Go Big Blue Machine

I take it the rivalry was over football and pep rallies, not SAT scores and gpa? Oklahoma, high school football really is not necessary and it costs a lot of money. Before trash talking on the social networks becomes toxic, and children do hurt children----play the games in the early afternoon without an bleacher full of revved up sixteen teen year olds. Better, yet, play it to empty bleachers----it only takes one kid to carry out a threat that many talked about to change things forever. The administrator needs to be very proactive here.
