OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. - A grass fire near Wha Sha She State Park in Osage County is almost contained.

The fire is burning along state highway 10 on the shore of Hulah Lake.

Fire fighters told FOX23 the fire is about 80% contained and crews are using bulldozers to create fire lines.

At least 500 acres have burned and of that 80% of the Wha Sha She State park has burned. No campers were there at the time.

Thursday night, there were three suspicious fires. They contained those fires yesterday and it rekindled into a much bigger fire today.

Investigators will have to determine the cause of the fire.

Fire fighters said the wind help and hurt them, helped because the fire was pushed toward the lake. Hurt because the wind would shift boost the fire.

Firefighters will be on scene through the night.
