George Zimmerman is now a free man after a jury cleared the neighborhood watch volunteer of all charges in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.

A jury found Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder last night and declined to convict him on a lesser charge of manslaughter. Despite the acquittal, his brother tells CNN that Zimmerman is going to be "looking over his shoulder the rest of his life" given that national attention the case has attracted. The death of the unarmed 17-year-old unleashed protests and debate across the U.S. over racial profiling, self-defense and equal justice.

Robert Zimmerman Jr., says his brother is still processing the reality that he won't serve prison time for the killing, which Zimmerman has maintained was an act of self-defense.

An attorney for Martin's family is acknowledging disappointment over the acquittal, but to Martin's supporters, Benjamin Crump is saying, "for Trayvon to rest in peace, we must all be peaceful."
