Four Oklahoma officers killed in the line of duty

Four Oklahoma police officers died in the line of duty in 2012.

Nationwide new numbers show officer deaths dropped by 23%. 49 officers were killed by gunfire, that’s compared to 72 officers killed by gunfire in 2011.

The new numbers come from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

The number is disproportionate to the number of citizens killed by police (which saw a huge rise this year).

Who were they? I would think in order for the public to see these officers as public servants, dedicated lawmen and fellow human beings it would help to put a face and name to each one and paste it on the front page of every news report and story, they deserve recognition from the public they died serving as well as from their peers.
