Fire Destroys East Tulsa Home

(TULSA, Okla.) November 19- An East Tulsa family loses their home in an overnight fire.

It happened just after 12:30 near 31^st & 129^th East Avenue. Fire crews say when they got on the scene the house was completely engulfed in flames.

The fire caused the roof to cave-in. Fire crews tells FOX23 News a woman and her 2 kids got out of the house okay. The woman’s husband was at work at the time.

Fire crews say the house is a complete loss with about $125,000 in damage. The home did have a smoke detector but the woman says she didn’t hear it go off.

The Red Cross is now helping the family out this morning.
