I guess I don’t understand why horses are different. Most people have no problem eating cows, pigs, deer, chickens, buffalo, frogs, fish, squid, lobster (which can be cooked alive), crawdads, snake, alligator and so forth. People have no problem packing hundreds of pounds on a horses back, making them race around a circle, using them to pull heavy equipment, race around barrels, chase cows (that will be thrown on the ground and tied). But mention eating a horse and people get very upset. Are there “eating” animals and “labor” animals and you just can’t mix them, or what? I just get what the problem is.

This was never about compassion, but greed. Hope they end up in one of their for-profit prisons for accepting bribes.

This is so sad, cruel, evil, selfish. How could you call yourself a human being? You are a horrible person. I cannot believe that at your old age, you have not learned what love, compassion, and respect for others are, and that they are the most valuable things in life. They are more valuable than any money that you could make out of this discusting business from the blood of innocent animals. I feel sorry for you because not respecting animals just shows your ugly n miserable heart that millions would not be able to make happy. I will also not spend a penny in this state and will make sure that all my friends won't either. Trust me. After they find out of this bill, they will not either and they will pass the news to their friends too, and so on.

Bloody Mary... may you and your family drown in the river of blood for which you will be responsible and may your end be as painful as the one you've condemned the horses.

Shame on you. We now know the face of greed (same goes to you Okieborn... thinking of the mighty dollars) Hope the Universe find a way to make all pro-slaughter people pay dearly. When heartaches, pain & misery strike you and your family know it is "that" payback at work.

So now horses will pay with their own lives for the irresponsible owners and breeders. Bravo Bloody Mary !

This is one of the smartest things she has ever done. Maybe now there won't be as many starving horses and the good ones will be worth something again.
