A man is in jail after leading Tulsa police on a chase that ended in the drive-thru of a midtown Taco Bell.
Around 2:00am Thursday officers tried to pull over a car for a traffic violation near 8th and Lewis. He took off, and drove to a Taco Bell near 11th and Harvard, across from the University of Tulsa. He tried to speed through the drive-thru, but hit a car, and took down part of a fence. After that he ran out of the car, and officers chased him to the TU campus, where they arrested him.
No one was hurt except the driver that was arrested, he was taken to the hospital to be checked out, but officers say his injuries were not serious.
The arrested driver is facing complaints of traffic violations, eluding police and resisting arrest.
