Convenience store & fast food robbers

A group of gunmen hitting convenience stores and fast-food restaurants are on the run in Tulsa.
In this week’s Riverside News, police report a group of robbers are driving around in a black Toyota 4-Runner and robbing people at the Quik Trip on 61st and S. Lewis and the McDonalds on 15th and Peoria.
The suspects are described as several black males and one white male driving a similar 4-Runner as pictured with Oklahoma tag # 899-DDP.
Police also want the public to know that due to the heat officers are allowed to wear lighter uniforms.
The uniform is a dark blue football style jersey and khaki pants. The jersey
contains the TPD badge and patches and clearly states in yellow “TULSA POLICE” on the front and back This is the same uniform worn by the TPD Organized Gang Unit.
