Karl let me tell you a story!! One day I was hitch hiking back to base from a Donovan concert. Got a ride in a VW Minivan. So here I am sitting mid shift on the floorboard covered with newspapers. Here we sit at a stoplight on a snow covered road. Advancing on us from the last stoplight about three miles away was a sports car driver that just noticed that the light was red. So he hits the minivan about four back from the stop light. The impact caused the van to flip over on its top and spin with the rear facing the ditch. The motion caused the rear doors to spring open with all of the papers preceding me I did a backwards flip landing on all the papers that preceded me. Looking back it's a miracle that I am here. Good luck finding your way with all your blindness. There may not be any way out.

I forgot to mention how hard I laughed at the idiot who thought something "ales me". Religion not only makes people crazy, it makes them illiterate as well.

I'm still waiting for some "believer" to explain why a child going to heaven is a tragedy. The fundies blather on and on about Gawd having "a plan" for everyone, yet they will importune Her/Him/It every time a phart blows in the wind to have that eternal perfect plan changed to suit their immediate wants. If doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is a mark of insanity, praying certainly qualifies as a pristine example. The local forums have been saturated with posts loudly proclaiming public prayer for the dead kids and as usual their prayings produced no results except failure which is standard when people bleat at make-believe deities. They thump their bibles but ignore a clear instruction from their now-dead savior who said in Matthew 6:5 keep it private. It's the way hypocrites operate. I am sorry for the kids who died, but I am far more sorry for other kids who are subjected to the abuse of religion. http://www.godisimaginary.com

For any other idiots that need an explanation on how a childs' death is a tragedy please allow me to explain. I would use crayons and craft paper as I know you would understand colorful pictures much better. But just have mommy read this too you. Death itself is deemed tragic often times by how a person dies, and untimely death can be deemed tragic simply because a person (unlike yourself) may be missed by loving and caring family that enjoy living and growing with that person. You see while death certainly may not be tragic to you and actually may be the best medicine for what ales you. I think its safe to assume that most of us enjoy life and would also enjoy growing old with friends and family making beautiful memories along the way. So "death" is often times tragic. And Im sure glad no one made any comments regarding "a child going to heaven" as being tragic, because I would be the first to ask for an explanation. Ive provided a link for you that covers reading and comprehension 3rd and 4th grade levels. www.education.com/Worksheets Its was either that or an "idiots guide on how to not look stupid when making comments" But the latter, though helpful could have been somewhat misconstrued as just being mean, and Im certainly not that.

The heading for this story is so misleading. The six year old wasn't rescued...poor baby. My condolences to the friends and family of the child.
