Charges filed after Broken Arrow teen hit by car

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Prosecutors filed charges against a man they say he hit a Broken Arrow teenager who was crossing the road and then drove away.

Jordan Hunter is charged with one count of leaving the scene of an injury accident.

Logan Henry was hit during cross country practice on January 29th. His family told FOX23 that Henry is now in a rehab facility. They said he is doing a little better every day.

I forgot to say :~|| Hopefully the judge will take into account that Hunter is a young adult and be lenient on him. Something like shoveling elephant dung at the zoo for a while.

Hunter really damaged his credibility by driving off. I understand he was scared and confused. I'm also sure that a judge will give Hunter a more clear ability on just exactly WHAT to do under circumstances similar to this. Hopefully something like this won't happen to Hunter again.
