Thousands are expected to gather in Tulsa for the Center of the Universe Festival on Friday and Saturday.
The festival is being held in the Brady Arts District and restaurants in the area are preparing for the anticipated crowds.
Lindsey Roe is the general manager for The Tavern which sits on the corner of Main and Brady. With nearly 70 bands expected to take the stage for the Center of the Universe Festival this weekend -- she and her team are getting ready.
"I've been told there is going to be a lot of people so we've got extra staff coming in and we've ordered extra food," she said.
With 40,000 people expected downtown, Roe is a bit concerned her normal customers might not venture out because of the crowds.
"I feel like there's going to be a certain demographic that's going to stay away from this area if they're not interested in the live music," she said.
But she hopes they won't and she said they will have lots of food ready for hungry concert-goers.
There will be streets blocked off for the festival so parking could be tough. Officials said a parking garage is on Main Street between First and Archer.
