Broken Arrow homeowner shoots at burglary suspects

Broken Arrow police are investigating after a homeowner fires shots at two men after they forced their way into his home.

It happened early Tuesday morning in a neighborhood near 81st and Aspen.

The homeowner told police the two suspects forced their way in through his front door.  That's when he fired at the suspects.  One of them returned fire, but police say the homeowner was not injured.  It is unknown if either of the suspects were hit.

The two men left in a vehicle, but it is not known which direction they went.

I am so glad to hear that the homeowner had a gun and used it! Way to stand your ground! We need to protect our houses and our families against these thugs infiltrating Broken Arrow.
