Mounds High School has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Investigators told FOX23 a school resource officer heard about a threat against the school on Twitter. A student allegedly tweeted he was going to blow up the school on Monday.

The school quickly evacuated students, moving them to a softball field and using school buses to shield them in case of an explosion.

Investigators have talked to the student, they think he was upset about something. They are looking for any kind of device, including using bomb sniffing dogs, so far nothing has been found.

School officials said a phone alert was sent for parents, but many parents are upset they were not notified.

Did they have any tests scheduled? The Harvard threat got several exams postponed...conveniently.
