The Oklahoma Highway Patrol canceled the Amber Alert for a 3-year-old Pottawatomie County girl.
Chasity Almon has been found.
On Tuesday, authorities issued an Amber Alert for Chasity Almon. Pottawatomie County Sheriff's deputies said her father, 32-year old Robby Almon, took her. Almon is now in the Pottawatomie County Jail.
Almon and Chasity were found in a Almon's wife's Norman apartment Wednesday afternoon. Police realized she was hiding her husband after pinging her cell phone.
For three hours they negotiated his surrender; which finally came around 7 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Chasity was reunited with her mother.
She was taken by ambulance to a Norman hospital to be examined by doctors. Police on the scene said she had no visible injuries, but she appeared scared.
Almon was taken to the Pottawatomie County jail late Wednesday evening.
He faces kidnapping, child endangerment and eluding police charges. His wife may be charged with harboring a fugitive.
Almon became a fugitive, his daughter the subject on an Amber Alert when he ran from Pottawatomie County deputies trying to serve a warrant. He fled the scene with Chasity and a friend's child, 10-year-old Aaron Brodine.
Brodine was found safe at a home near McLoud Tuesday afternoon. Almon had apparently dropped him off on the road.
Almon has a criminal history, and has served time in prison. He was charged just last week in Pottawatomie County with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
