If you're looking for lightweight, low-maintenance, durable, and inexpensive outdoor furniture, resin can be just what you're looking for. It works well on lawns, decks, porches, patios, or balconies. Since it's so lightweight, it's often not recommended for areas that are subject to high winds. Resin is actually polypropylene (polly PRO-puh-leen) plastic which is chemically enhanced for strength, color, and resistance to dirt and sun. It's made by injecting liquid plastic into a mold and allowing it to cool. You may choose to add cushions to your resin chairs for a touch of color and flare. To see what's available in resin furniture, talk to a dealer in your area.
