Infertility seminars and support groups

Infertility may be the result of tubal disease, endometriosis, ovulation or immune problems, as well as male factors. Support groups, both independent and physician-sponsored, can provide self-help and group discussions among women afflicted with this treatable condition. Seminars are sponsored by the doctor's office to educate patients about possible treatments. When laser laparoscopy (lah-puh-RAW-skaw-pee) procedures are performed, a videotape of the procedure is made to show how all the disease was completely removed.
