In an average lifetime, a person will walk the equivalent of four times around the world. Obviously, that puts a lot of stress on your feet. And your feet are amazingly complex body parts. They contain about a fourth of all the bones in your body, as well as joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, nerves and blood vessels. All these parts work together to support and balance your body, day after day, all your life. And surprisingly enough, healthy feet don't hurt. If yours do, there's something wrong. See a foot specialist at the first sign of foot pain. Most conditions can be treated more easily if they're caught and attended to as soon as possible.
