There can be many reasons why your car may fail to start. The most common cause of starting problems usually has to do with either the battery, the starter, or a combination of both. When you try to start your car and only hear a clicking sound coming from the starter, it could mean a low battery, bad battery connections, or a damaged starter. If the battery‘s the problem, a jump-start may get your car going. If the engine turns over but won't start; there may be a fuel system problem. These are just two of the basic reasons why your car may not start, many other factors could also come into play. It could be something as simple as a loose wire or cable, or an extreme situation such as a seized engine. When your car has starting problems, consult a qualified mechanic in your area.
