Rachael Harris has joined the cast of Fox's Surviving Jack, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Based on the book I Suck At Girls, the comedy follows Jack Dunlevy (Christopher Meloni) as he juggles fathering two teenagers (Connor Buckley and Claudia Lee ) — in a pre-Google world. Harris will play Jack's wife Joanne, who leaves the kids in the care of Jack when she goes back to law school. Deadline.com first reported the news.

Harris, whose credits include New Girl, Happy Endings and Cougar Town, replaces Alex Kapp Horner, who exited the series after the pilot was picked up.

S#*! My Dad Says duo Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker write and executive-produce the midseason comedy with Cougar Town's Bill Lawrence.
