The 24-year-old actor initially tweeted about his new job on Tuesday: "on my way to @FoxBraodcasting... time to put in work #House." However, he quickly unpublished the breaking news tweet after he apparently got scolded by the network. Jordan later tweeted: "My bad @foxbroadcasting... Now I know never to tweet before the studio approves."
House returns Monday, Jan. 9 at 9/8c on Fox.
