The Simpsons again paid tribute to actress Marcia Wallace on Sunday.

The episode featured a scene with Edna Krabappel's husband, Ned Flanders, sitting alone and revisiting an old memory of dancing with Edna. "Sure do miss that laugh," he says.

Then schoolyard bully Nelson Muntz shows up to mock Ned with his own iconic laugh before sadly adding, "I miss her, too."

In the November the series popular opening credit gag was a tribute to Wallace, with Bart Simpson writing "We'll really miss you Mrs. K." Instead of his normal joke sentences.

Marcia Wallace was the voice actor of Edna Krabappel, Bart's long suffering school teacher, on the sitcom. She died in November at the age of 70.  The show's producers say her character will be retired.
