We will announce a Breaking Weather Alert Day when severe weather is imminent but before it strikes Green Country.
This will give you time to take necessary precautions to keep you and your family safe once the severe weather hits.
When a Breaking Weather Alert Day is announced, you will begin seeing the Breaking Weather Alert Day icon during programming on FOX23.
The icon will be accompanied by a sounder to notify you of information on the nature of the threatening weather appearing on the screen.
FOX23.com will also transform in to your Breaking Weather Alert Center giving you access to radars, watches and warnings, even live streaming video from out in the field.
