OHP is on the scene of a semi-truck accident in Broken Arrow. Lanes are closed on 193rd East Avenue near the Creek Turnpike. Troopers believe the semi went off the turnpike and overturned onto 193rd East Avenue. Witnesses told troopers the truck was swerving on the road before going down the embankment.

The driver of the truck was transported by EMSA to an area hospital. Troopers are working to determine what caused the semi to go off the road. The clean-up is expected to take around five hours.

This story makes me wonder and worry about how much nuclear waste is rolling over the roads and rails.

That is correct. I used the word accident as a catch all phrase. My husband told me before he went into a coma, the truck malfunctioned. There was a employee that promised to give me information on what was going on with the city trucks. He never came through. He soon transferred to another job with the city. I do pray this driver pulls through, and praying for his family.

There are no such things as "accidents" involving vehicles. The cause is predictable with driver error or vehicle malfunction. Most accurate media reports use "wreck" or "crash" or "mishap." Accident is the most inaccurate term to use.

You do not know the entire story! Many cruel things were said when my husband had an accident in 2011 driving an 18 wheeler for the city of Tulsa. The news said the driver was fine. I do pray the driver makes it. Please do not state why the accident happened, unless you were in the truck with him.
