FOX23 found the City of Tulsa may be sacrificing quality for quantity.  The city’s patched thousands of potholes, costing a total of hundreds of thousands of dollars, but most individual repairs are only costing the city less than ten dollars.

FOX23’s Emily Sinovic also found many of those repair reports were incomplete, missing addresses.  Emily also found a trend that no one with the city could explain, why pothole complaints from North or Northwest Tulsa were delayed 3 times as much as complaints from anywhere else in the city.

The city’s goal is to fix every pothole within 3 days of the complaint.

FOX23 looked at an entire year’s reports from 2008, listing every single pothole complaint called into the mayor’s action line that year.
