Better Business Bureau

The Better Business Bureau says BlueHippo is "taking advantage of customers" who are buying big ticket electronics and don’t have good credit.

Customers using that company have filed 2,000 complaints with the Better Business Bureau during the past year alone.

It all sounds like a good deal at first. You pay less than a hundred dollars at first, plus a few more payments, and the company never checks your credit. For less than a hundred bucks up front... plus a few more payments.

Roxanna Jones said she thought it would be a good way to buy her daughter a computer for college.

Since she ordered the computer in September 2008, she says the company has withdrawn about $1,400 from her bank account and she still has not received the computer.
